In Scandinavia, the sauna and the supper table share a philosophy: warmth, simplicity, and the pleasure of eating well. At PORVAPOR, Barcelona's first Nordic gastro spa, they finally share a roof.
There is a saying in Finland that everything important happens in the sauna. What no one mentions is that at some point, everyone gets hungry. The Nordic relationship between heat, cold, and food is older than restaurants — after hours in the steam, the body craves something honest. Something cured, something warm, something that tastes of the north.
At PORVAPOR, the tapas bar extends that tradition into the heart of Poblenou. The circuit is three hours long. The kitchen is ready when you are.
The three dishes that define us
Ordered first. Ordered again.
• Finnish fish cream soup — 12€
A bowl of the Finnish coast: rich, warming broth with cream and seasonal fish. The dish that makes most sense after the ice bath — hot, restorative, and deeply comforting.
• Smørrebrød with cream cheese & gravlax — 11€
The open-faced sandwich of the Nordic kitchen at its most essential: dense rye bread, cream cheese, and salmon cured in-house. The correct thing to eat between the sauna and the steam room.
• Sea buckthorn & orange tisane — 9€
Oblepikha — the bright orange berry of Siberian hedgerows — brewed with orange and fresh thyme. Tart, vivid, rich in vitamin C. The drink the body asks for after the cold plunge.
"After the sauna, the body does not want theatre. It wants something honest, something warm, and a drink that tastes of somewhere cold."

For those who want everything
Upgradeable to Siberian 6-star (325€) · Oscietra 5-star (350€) · Oscietra 6-star (375€)
The Porvapor Set is the only place in Barcelona where you can eat premium Antonius caviar beside a sauna. That particular combination has no precedent in this city, and we intend to keep it that way.
The circuit is three hours long. That is enough time to steam, plunge, recover, eat a proper meal, and order one more sea buckthorn tisane before the day ends. Book a session, bring an appetite, and let the Nordic kitchen do what it has always done best — make the ritual complete.
Come hungry. Leave warm.
